Thanks to Antalis and their ESG mission, we created this book using upcycled fruit waste paper, crafting a story inspired by unique fruit fibers and Hong Kong’s iconic fruit market—Gwo Laan, a cultural landmark with over 100 years of history.

As part of the unique urban aesthetics of Hong Kong’s street culture, we distilled many visual symbols of this bustling local market.

From the calligraphy signboards to the textures of fresh fruits and worn cartons, every detail is brought to life through cutting-edge and sophisticated printing techniques.

The result is a tangible visual tapestry that invites you to immerse yourself in a journey full of surprises and discoveries.

The vibrant colours, rich textures, fruit-inspired graphics, customised and handwritten typography lay the foundation of this artistic book. It's even more fun to experience these details tangibly.

This visual journey beautifully bridges tradition and innovation. It boldly explores a fresh perspective on preserving and celebrating cultural heritage through the power of design, with sustainability embedded at the core of the project.
